CEU Students Among Top 30 of JTHMAP Apprenticeship Program Boot Camp
Centro Escolar University students Maria Iris Sofia Sobrepeña and Emmanuel Joshua Fajardo landed on two of the highest ranks of the Top 30 Excellent Students for the Junior Tourism and Hospitality Management Association of the Philippines (JTHMAP) Apprenticeship Program and Boot Camp 2020 held recently for five consecutive Saturdays via Zoom.
From over a hundred participants, Maria Iris Sofia, second year Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management specialized in Hotel, Restaurant and Culinary Operations student from CEU Manila School of Nutrition and Hospitality Management grabbed the 8th spot in the camp while Emmanuel Joshua, second year Bachelor of Science in International Tourism and Travel Management major from CEU Malolos College of Hospitality Management placed 10th.
“The boot camp was full of new experiences, shared knowledge from the speakers and interesting exchanges of ideas with fellow campers. I have acquired many techniques and ideas in one of the sessions which I can also impart to our organization Association of Hotel and Restaurant Management’s (AHRMS) upcoming projects,” said Maria Iris Sofia.
Trina Carlene Antoinette Cea, a second year Bachelor of Science in International Tourism and Travel Management student from CEU Makati Hospitality Management Department also joined and completed the program boot camp.
The JTHMAP Apprenticeship Boot Camp provides leadership opportunities and conduct activities that enrich the learning and appreciation of tourism and hospitality disciplines in a series of online training and meaningful group discussions.
