CEU Singers Malolos Bags 3 Silver Awards in International Chorale Competition

Centro Escolar University Singers Malolos bagged three silver awards in the 10th Orientale Concentus International Choral Festival held in Singapore.

On its first attempt to join an international competition, the twenty-five member CEU Malolos choir won Silver Grade III in Sacred-Church category, Silver Grade II in Mixed Voices Open category, and Silver Grade 1 in Chamber Music category.

The board of judges was composed of Mr. Toh Ban Sheng from Singapore, Mr. Stojan Kuret from Slovenia, Mr. Jae-Joon Lee from South Korea, Mr. Paul Phoenix from England, and Mr. Mark Anthony Carpio from the Philippines.

CEU Singers Malolos was led by its choir adviser, Mrs. Amelia Valencia, and Mr. German De Guzman as conductor.
