CEU VP is World Education Congress Awardee
Centro Escolar University Malolos Vice President and Dean of Studies Dr. Maria Flordeliza L. Anastacio was recognized as one of the Philippines Education Leadership Awardees by the World Education Congress on June 7, 2019 at the Dusit Thani Hotel.
The given distinction honors individuals who are at the forefront of their respective institutions, fortifying it by synergizing leadership, academics, and industry linkage with the ultimate goal of rearing the world’s future leaders.
The organizers, led by Dr. Bhatia and seven international judges, looked into the awardees’ work, global reach and outlook, and ability to contribute value to social change. This is in accordance with the philosophy of the award, specifically in “Making a Difference” in the lives of people. The Philippines Education Leadership Awards has been endorsed by the World Federation of Academic and Educational Institutions. Dr. Anastacio is one of the three Regional Mentors/Experts for South East Asia of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) International Dean’s Course.
Also, she is the President of the International Academy of Accountants for Business, Research, and Education (IAABRE), an International Visiting Fellow and Research Fellow of the Royal Institution of Singapore, and the past National President of two national organizations, namely, the Philippine Society for Educational Research and Evaluation (PSERE) and the Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business (PCDEB).
