CEU Malolos Professor hailed as Teacher of the Year

During the 18th CEU Quality Awards Day, Dr. Josan Tamayo from Centro Escolar University Malolos - College of Accountancy, Management and Technology was recognized as the Teacher of the Year held last November 21, 2020, via online platform.

Dr. Tamayo is currently the Program Head of the Computer Education and Coordinator of the ICT of CEU Malolos. She started her career in teaching at CEU Malolos in the year 2012. She has earned certifications such as Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, National Certification on Computer Systems Servicing, Web Application Scanning, Vulnerability Management, Network Security Associate, and IBM Associate. She also conducted several types of research in Software Development, Educational Technologies, and Mobile Technologies which were presented and published both in local and international fora and she has been invited as a Speaker in school-based, local, and international seminars, in her field of specialization.

Recently, she is the project leader of research funded by CHED Discovery- Applied Research and Extension for Trans/Inter-disciplinary Opportunities. She also authored and co-authored books that are published and utilized in different colleges and universities in the country.

Her active involvement in community service is the Adopt-A-School Program, which is the partnership she built between DepEd Malolos Bulacan and CEU Malolos made her truly an exemplar.
