CEU Tops 2016 Licensure Examination for Teachers

Centro Escolar University-Malolos’ Aljie Juridico ranked 5th in the recently concluded Licensure Examination for Teachers given last September 25, 2016, with an average of 87.20%.

He is one of the 23, 378 successful elementary teacher board passers out of 77, 466 takers which equates to 30.18% passing rate based on the data released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT).  

Aljie obtained his Bachelor of Elementary Education with Specialization in Special Education at CEU Malolos campus and graduated as Magna Cum Laude. He also received “The Chairman of the Board Award” for Academic Excellence, for having the highest general weighted average across three CEU campuses. 

In the overall performance of Schools for both Elementary and Secondary, CEU garnered an average of 57.14%

CEU’s Education Program in Manila and Malolos under the School of Education, Liberal Arts, Music, and Social Work (SELAMS) headed by Dr. Ma. Rita D. Lucas, and Dr. Elizabeth Roces as Deans, respectively, is a CHED Center of Excellence in Teacher Education.
