CEU Alumnus Went Viral for His Good Samaritan Acts

1 July 2020

Centro Escolar University alumnus Police Corporal Jonjon Nacino gained admiration and praise for his two stories of good deeds which were posted in social media and went viral.

The first post was shared in Facebook by Joshua Basa, a food delivery rider and working student who was approached and scolded by Nacino for cutting a line during a checkpoint inspection at Espana Boulevard. However, instead of giving Basa a violation ticket, Nacino handed him a $100. The rider refused to accept the money, but the police officer insisted telling him to use it for his studies.

The food delivery driver commended Nacino’s kind heart and generosity which prompted him to post the incident in social media.

Police Corporal Nacino seems to be born a Good Samaritan. Recently he again went viral after a netizen witnessed him bought two pieces of ice drops from an old lady vendor whom he paid P1,000 and did not ask for the change any more. This made the vendor very happy and grateful to the police officer.

Police Corporal Nacino obtained his degree in Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management in 2012 at CEU School of Nutrition and Hospitality Management (SNHM).
