CHM Student Organizations Hold their General Assemblies

The College of Hospitality Management (CHM) through its Student Council under the supervision of Dr. Shella Marie Ignacio (CHM general adviser), initiated the College General Assembly on September 17, 2018 at ADA Function Room. Prof. Maricar Veranga (CHM Program Head) led the attendees who comprised of faculty, staff, and students. The guest speaker, Mr. John Horeb Dela Cruz (BSTM 2015 graduate and Mr. CEU runner-up, Masters and Airlink Flying School graduate, Reserved Pilot of Philippine Air Force with sergeant rank, and Private & Commercial Pilot license holder) made the participants overwhelmed with pride and honor for his presence and sharing of insights.
The Association of Hotel and Restaurant Management Students (AHRMS), on the other hand, held its General Assembly last September 19, 2018. The event was graced by Prof. Veranga; Prof. Vanessa De Guzman (AHRMS adviser); and guests speakers, namely: Ms. Adit C. Gomez (graduate of multimedia technology, former instructor and laboratory facilitator of ACLC Malolos, entrepreneur and founder of Juan Solutions and Ecobricks Bulacan) and Engr. Matthew David Carmona (a licensed mechanical engineer, former instructor and chairman of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Baliuag University, licensed financial advisor of Sunlife, and facilitator of Ecobricks Bulacan).
Two days after, the Association of Tourism Students (ATS) under the advisory of Dr. Eleanor Reyes had its assembly at the same venue. Prof. Veranga and Dr. Ignacio headed the group of attendees. The guest speaker was Ms. Ramelyn Carillo (BSTM Alumni Batch 2018 and Passenger Service Agent Korean Airlines).
